Next Half Mile formed the usual way bands do-—-word of mouth, a Facebook page, a click of the mouse. Along the way we discovered that we might have hit on something pretty special. 

We bring to you our love of blending voices and instruments to share music from the past and some present-—-from Fleetwood Mac to Bonnie Raitt to Toad the Wet Sprocket. 

Our band name originated from a turtle crossing warning.  However, it resonated with all of us, embodying the next chapter in our lives. 

We are happiest when we look out into the audience and witness the recognition of songs and the desire to sing along.
